Your lucky bamboo is pre-packed separately from the pot/vase to protect it during shipping. Please remove all of the protective wrapping from your bamboo but do not remove the twist ties (the twist ties provide security and stability for its arrangements).
Place your lucky bamboo singles or towers in a pot/vase and add decorative rocks or pebbles (amount of rocks/pebbles is to your discretion). Some of the arrangement does not need rocks; they can be left as a free-flowing plant. But others arrangement may require rocks; pot may be too deep and lucky bamboo need height support from rocks to sustain desirable appearance.
This step is very important. Make sure your lucky bamboo receives enough watering. If the roots are dry, lucky bamboo may wither and possibly not last. Check your pot at least twice a week and monitor the level of water in the pot. By tilting the pot slightly you can see if there is enough water in the pot. Lucky Bamboo absorb water quickly, therefore you should water above the rock level. Highly recommend to keep lucky bamboo healthy and lushness, is to use filtered or bottle water (less chlorine).
This plant prefers a cool, indoor environment. Direct sunlight will cause this plant to turn yellow and pale. Do not leave the plant below 50 degrees or in extreme heat.
